What is SEO you ask? What is Pay for Click, or in a formal acronym PPC (Pay-Per-Click)? They are both forms of Search Engine Marketing (SEM - yes another acronym to learn). SEO (search engine optimization) helps get you ranked under the general listings that appear when you search for something on Google, Bing, or whatever other engine you prefer. PPC is paid advertising that normally appears to the upper right or the very top rankings which are highlighted as advertisement. The majority of click troughs happen under general listings, thus doing SEO is a necessity - even now. Utilizing PPC to support difficult organic rankings and time sensitive campaigns, tends to be a more cost effective solution.
